主旨:日間部辦理棄修日期暨注意事項說明 Application Procedure and Date for Dropping Class

說明:105學年度第2學期起,棄修申請採線上作業,詳見下方公告。

一、組、各系中心受理棄修時間

1、線上系統開放時間106428(星期五)上午9點起至106510(星期三)下午5點止。

2、課組收件時間106428(星期五)106510(星期三)週一至週五上午8點至下午5點(週六及週日不受理),請以教務處課組收件時間為,逾時不予受理。

二、棄修名單公告時間:

預計於516(星期二)下午5點前上網公告棄修名單

三、辦理流程如下:

步驟1:登入校務資訊系統,列印棄修申請表(詳見本公告操作手冊)

步驟2:取得任課教師同意簽章(同學需自行找任課教師簽章)

步驟3:取得開課系(中心)主任同意簽章同學需自行找主任簽章

步驟4:同學完成任課教師、開課系(中心)主任同意簽章後將棄修申請書送至教務處課(需在受理時間截止前送達課組)

步驟5:資料審查

l  棄修後總學分數是否達最低應修學分數。【未達最低學分數者需檢附修課學分數低於限申請表

l  相關簽章是否符合規定

步驟6:資料皆符合規定者,棄修名單將於預計公告日上網公告,並請同學查看個人課表。資格不符合規定者將不會出現在公告名單中,請同學自行留意。如有疑問,請親洽課組查詢

步驟7棄修後的缺請假資料,於本名單公告後三日內由學處生輔組刪除完畢,請再自行查詢缺紀錄

第一條 為顧及學生於選課截止後,因特殊情形無法繼續修習課程,特訂定棄修實施辦法。

Article I. These Regulations Governing Withdrawal from Courses are instituted for special circumstances where a student cannot continue taking a course after the deadline for dropping courses.

第二條 本規定適用全校學生。Article II. These Regulations apply to all students enrolled in the University.

第三條 學生棄修申請需經任課教師、開課單位主管同意後,送交教務處課組(進修部教務組)辦理。Article III. Students who wish to withdraw from a class must receive approval from the course instructor and the head of the instructional unit offering the course. Then, they must submit their request to the Curriculum Section of the Office of Academic Affairs (or the Academic Affairs Section of the Division of Continuing Education).

第四條 學生得於期中考後辦理棄修,確實日期依教務處課組(進修部教務組)公告為主。

Article IV. Students who wish to withdraw from a course must complete procedures after mid-term exams. The exact dates will be announced by the Curriculum Section of the Office of Academic Affairs (or the Academic Affairs Section of the Division of Continuing Education).

第五條 棄修後修課總學分若少於最低應修學分數者(依學則規定應提出申請),經核准後得不受限,惟延修棄修後修習科目不得少於科。學年必修課上學期棄修後,下學期仍須繼續修習;學年選修課上學期棄修後,下學期不得繼續修習。Article V. Students may not withdraw from a course if the resulting number of credits for the current semester will fall below the minimum number of required credits. Students who submit a request according to University Academic Policies and receive approval are not subject to this restriction. Students withdrawing from year-long required courses in the first semester must continue the courses in the second semester. Students withdrawing from year-long elective courses in the first semester may not continue the courses in the second semester. Yet, super seniors need to have a minimum of one credit hour after dropping a course (s).

第六條 棄修單如有偽簽或未經許可代簽之情事,一經發覺,除該科棄修無效外,並依校規處理。Article VI. Withdrawal requests whose approval signatures have been falsified or signed in place of anther without consent will be nullified. Students involved will suffer disciplinary actions according to the University Code of Conduct.

第七條 棄修之科目需登記於該學期成績單及歷年成績單內(中英文),成績欄以「棄修」、「Withdraw」登錄,但不列入學分及成績計算。Article VII. Courses from which students have withdrawn are recorded in students’ current semester transcripts and cumulative transcripts in Chinese and English. In the column for grades, “Withdraw” or “棄修” is entered. Neither credits nor grades are included in credit or grade calculations.

第八條 課程棄修後,學分費(學雜費)不退還,未繳交者,仍應依規定補繳。Article VIII. Tuition and fees for a course from which a student withdraws are not refunded. Any payment owed still needs to be paid.

第九條 學生當學期若有棄修科目者,不得領取與當學期學業成績相關之獎助學金。Article IX. Any student who withdraws from a class is not eligible to receive funds from a scholarship based on academic performance.

第十條 本辦法經教務會議通過,並呈校長核定後實施,修定時亦同。Article XI. These Guidelines become effective after approval by the Academic Affairs Committee and ratification by the University President. Amendments must follow the same procedure.
